Hi, yes, it has been a long time.

John is always reminding me to write on my own website and not just post toots on Mastodon, so today is your lucky day.

The news these days, is war and the cost of living. I hope the wars will end peacefully. As for Trump created world chaos, well, some strange people voted it in so hopefully, they will realise the error of their actions.

Here in my quiet little town, it is the battle of the parties. Yes, a new election is upon us and we withdrew permission for Labor to post advertising on our fence and offered it instead to The Greens.

Labor rallied and have now posted a billboard across the road. Not as visible as the Greens signage on our fence. Hopefully The Greens will get some interest from our fence poster.

With my hands getting worse, it is harder to finish my projects. New designs are popping into my head all the time and I try hard to get what I think down on paper but they may take time to become things for now.

At the risk of sounding bitter, I have past the 500 day waiting for my 365 day wait for carpal tunnel surgery. The nurse on the line felt I should know that I could be waiting over 1000 days. And that s just my left hand. Goodness knows when the right hand will be seen to.

I am now a great aunt. Young Annelii and Thomas had a baby boy. His name is Kaspar. Sweet name for a sweet boy. His blanket is still being sewn up. Right when I lost my wool needles. I got a tapestry needle from down the road but it is still slow going. Time will hold the key to this one.

I made a new friend a few weeks back. I complimented her on her beautiful hair. It was truely, the most amazing colour. She is learning to spin and I will help her, as soon as time allows.

Our Wiltipoll lambs are settling in well and are getting more curious with every day that passes.

Lewis was enjoying a nose scratch the other day and Oswald seems fascinated with running water.

Ozzie the alpaca is still greedy when it comes to food but Chaser has become quite the gentleman, stepping back and letting the others eat first. He has also learnt, we keep some back just for him.

I better finish this and rest my hands.
oh, thank you all for your support on my fund raising efforts. The link on my page for World’s Greatest Shave Leukaemia charity will work right through December.
